Dr. Manolo Rubio is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and a vascular medicine and endovascular medicine specialist. He is a fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a Doctorate of the Society for Vascular Medicine. He completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Loma Linda University, California. There, he developed a passion for cardiovascular interventions, this led him to complete an advanced fellowship in interventional cardiology at The University of Tennessee, where he quickly developed a passion for vascular disease. Therefore, he completed further advanced training in Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Interventions at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He has a special interest in the endovascular (minimally invasive) treatment for critical limb ischemia (severe arterial blockages in the legs) and venous thromboembolic disease (blood clots in the legs and in the lungs). He is a fighter for limb salvage and amputation prevention. Manolo is truly committed to providing the best care to his patients, and strives to treat them like his own family.
