RADIANCE CAP
The Cardiovascular Institute of San Diego is a proud participant in Clinical Research Trials. Clinical research helps us learn more about the safety and effectiveness of medications and devices that in-turn could lead to advancements in the treatment of certain diseases. Participating in clinical research is always voluntary and we encourage participants to ask questions and make an informed decision.
Achievements: Number 4 enroller out of 152 active sites worldwide in the CHAMPION-AF Trial (Watchman FLX versus NOAC for Embolic protection in the management of patients with Non-Valvular Atrial Fibrillation).
We are currently enrolling in:
RADIANCE CAP (A study of the ReCor Medical Paradise System in Clinical Hypertension). RADIANCE CAP is a non-randomized study designed to allow for continued access to ultrasound renal denervation therapy via the Paradise System, and to allow for the on-going collection of safety and effectiveness data in subjects with uncontrolled hypertension despite the prescription of antihypertensive medications. More information about the study can be found here: RADIANCE Clinical Study
