Dr. Christine Chen is a dual board-certified interventional and diagnostic radiologist. She earned her medical degree at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University before completing her training in diagnostic radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, where she ultimately served as chief resident. She then completed advanced fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Prior to returning home to Southern California, she was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she also served as the program director of the Interventional Radiology training programs. Her interests include women’s health, including treatment of uterine fibroids, and peripheral vascular disease. She is especially passionate about strong doctor-patient connection and communication, and creating the most comfortable peri-procedural experience possible.
