Eileen Gajo, MD

Dr. Eileen Gajo is a highly skilled cardiologist specializing in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and adult congenital and structural cardiology. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Gajo relocated to Chicago, IL, where she completed her internal medicine training at the University of Chicago (NorthShore), serving as Chief Medical Resident. She continued her advanced training in cardiology at Rush University Medical Center, where she honed her expertise in general and interventional cardiology, as well as adult congenital and structural cardiology. She was a founding member of the Illinois American College of Cardiology Sports Cardiology Committee and also serves as a member of the American Heart Association (AHA)’s Council on Clinical Cardiology (CLCD) Women in Cardiology. Dr. Gajo has a particular passion for complex valvular heart disease, dedicating her practice to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care
